Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

I ordered a few times in the past. I tried placing a new order, took two days to call me back and 1/2 the items are out of stock. Guy on phone had terrible attitude. Their ordering process is archaic. They have an online catalogue, maybe 1970’s set up. It’s 2025. No web store showing items in or out of stock, current pricing and simple adding of shipping / billing address and credit card processing. In today’s technology, a few thousand dollars investment at the most. I had to email them my order so they can call me two days later and tell me what they have or don’t have and ask for credit card info on top. And here is the kicker. Today is December 9th, it takes them 10 days till Dec 19th to process and ship then order unless I pay $10 VIP charge so the can ship it on the 12th. So I point out it the young man on the phone how archaic this process is and he gets offended and says he won’t process my order. LMAO at the kid. He gets his violin out how hard they work to process 100’s of orders. Newsflash, if they had a modern day website, they could process those 100’s of orders in one day. Wake up, your service levels are non existent. There is a Hungarian deli in Vegas who wi

The owner is in the store and GREAT. They sell a specific product I cannot find anywhere else… in Los Angeles! A paprika paste from Hungary. I put it on a baked salmon with orange zest, juice, garlic and ginger. It will bring tears to your eyes!

I was really happy that I found Hungarian pick salami, unfortunately they were all already gone bad when they arrived, you can see the discolored meat on the photos. The photos were taken right after arrival, so I had to throw out $100 worth of order.

This retail food establishment that defies SAFETY RULES for 2320 W Clark Avenue burbank, CA 91506 OTTO's food, perplexed at the price gouging, and lack of any labeling. Otto is a sick, unsanitary criminal. Items prohibited in the EU, laced with chemical rest on dirty shelves! Ottó is lying about Mici, to me personally, sausages full of carcinogenics. He overcharged me at least $220, and did the same to Marianna Takacs Derecskei. We were spoken to very impolitely, as Ottó was afraid of us taking pictures of the disorderly store. we got very sick, and got food poisoning from the bloody sausages, unlabeled, no ingredients listed, see pictures. Adding the blown up receipts here. do not buy from this store, we are alerting the food Department in Burbank to inspect this dumpster. dr Olga Lazin

The owner is nice. I kind of felt awkward because he was kind of circling me so I asked him why he is doing that. Then he was like oh I'm just trying to see what you are recording and I was totally confused...it made me uncomfortable. I was not recording anything. I took one picture of a funny sign in hungarian....I guess people go there to record stuff cuz 90% of their stuff expired years ago. Anyway I continued looking around. Then he sent one his employees to follow me around. Like I know they dont know me and have to make sure I wont steal but still I wanted to continue shopping but the way he was following me around made me feel uncomfortable. So I didnt check their other stuff but it was probably also expired so didnt even bother. I mainly went there to buy some túrórudi...but didnt have any. He kindly took my info mentioned that he will contact me if they get some so I'm just waiting for that. Unless you know the stuff is arriving fresh I wouldnt buy anything without a clear expiration date. I was looking for the expiration date on most things. Some I could find that hasn't expired yet...I purchased it and tasted good. Other items didnt have expiration dates or it was smudge
